There are two types of AS-i slave available:
S
AS-i A/B slave
AS-i slave with extended addressing mode
S
AS-i standard slave or AS-i analog slave
AS-i slave for the standard address area; if you use
this slave type, you cannot use an AS-i A/B slave
under the same AS-i address in the B address area.
Configuring the Properties of an AS-i Slave
By configuring the properties of the AS-i slaves, you can do the following:
S
Store general information for the AS-i slaves
S
Enter configuration data of the AS-i slaves
S
Specify the I/O configuration
S
Specify I/O address areas
