3 Select communication mode
As stated in section 1 , the RXB Konnex room controllers operate either in S-mode or
LTE mode. They are used in S-mode when networked with the DESIGO building
automation and control system, and in LTE mode with the Synco system.
The factory setting of all controllers and the basic setting of the tools is 0 = S-Mode.
This minimizes the bus load.
Exception: ACS Service changes the setting immediately to 1 = LTE + S.
The ETS3 Professional is used in DESIGO networks.
It can be used for operation in
– S-mode
– LTE-mode and S-mode
The Send heartbeat and Receive timeout are described in Section
11.1 .
