INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing this Siemens product. Please read and follow
these instructions carefully.
MOUNT TYPE
This lens is designed for use with 1/2 inch C-mount CCD cameras
(17.526mm flange dimension). When fitting the lens to a CS-mount
camera, an adapter ring must be used to ensure correct flange position
(supplied free of charge with all Siemens cameras).
MOUNTING TO THE CAMERA
The lens is installed by screwing it clockwise into the mount on the CCTV
camera. Having screwed the lens in as far as it will go, you can rotate the
lens chassis back to suit the setup position of the camera.
IRIS
If the camera is fitted with a selection switch for Video and DC, set it to
DC.
TO INSURE LONG-TERM RELIABILITY
Remove dust from the lens using a blower or soft brush. Avoid touching the
lens surface.
Use lens cleaning paper or a clean cotton cloth with a little cleaning liquid to
remove finger prints or oil stains from the lens surface. Start in the centre of
the lens and work outwards. Avoid using organic solvents such as thinner or
benzene.

Do not expose the product to extremely
high or low temperatures. (not hotter than +60°C
or colder than -10°C). Extreme temperatures will
affect performance and may damage the product.

Keep the connection cable away from
heat sources as these could melt the insulation.

Do not place the product near a stove
or humidifier or in any other location where there
are conditions of high heat or humidity.
If you intend to connect the product to
another product, read the connection instructions
in both product manuals carefully beforehand.
Do not store a lens in direct sunlight.
Light passing through the lens could cause a fire
if directed at a flammable material.
Do not drop the product or expose it to
heavy impacts. This could lead to serious
damage.
