The following table defines hardware terms commonly used on the
CLINITEK analyzer.

bar code

Encoded information that is read by an
optical scanner.

calibration bar

The white calibration bar (on the test table)
that provides traceable calibration.

cassette

A Clinitest hCG reagent cassette for
pregnancy test use.

check cassette

A system diagnostic cassette that simulates a
reacted test area.
