Open the network view in “Devices & networks”, select the “HCS4x00” IO device
and open the system constant in the properties. Enter the HW ID of the IO device of
type “Hw_Device” for parameter “hwIoDevice” as a start value.
PROFIBUS:
Select the “Slave_1” GSD device accordingly and enter the hardware ID of the GSD
device of the “Hw_DpSlave” type as start value for the “hwIoDevice” parameter (see

"LHcs4x00_Config".hcs[x].io.pomTypInSlot
. Enter "3" as start value
for each slot with a POM4220 Highend. All other configured POMs will be
recognized automatically by the program. For these devices, keep the default value
“0” for the start values.
5. When controlling several HCS (of the same type) you need to:
adjust “numHcs” accordingly (step 1)
adjust the upper
limit of the “hcs” array accordingly (step 1)
Repeat steps 2 to 4 for each IO device/GSD device and the respective element
of the “hcs” array.
