6.2 Fire brigade call station operation
Transmitting a manual announcement / Triggering an evacuation
with a manual announcement
1. Remove the microphone from the housing.
2. Press the speak button on the microphone and press and hold the speak
button while speaking into the microphone at a normal sound level.
The microphone is activated.
Already active announcements are deactivated in the selected zones.
A manual announcement is made in all zones.
3. Release the speak button after the announcement.
The microphone is deactivated.
Playing a recorded announcement / Triggering an evacuation with a
recorded announcement
1. Press a button correspondingly labeled with the required announcement.
Already active announcements are deactivated in all zones.
The announcement is made in all zones.
With the corresponding configuration, the announcement is also emitted via
the integrated speaker.
The announcement is continually repeated.
2. Press <RESET / ACOUSTIC OFF> to end the announcement.
Recording an announcement
1. Press the correspondingly labeled button.
2. Press the speak button on the microphone and press and hold the speak
button while speaking into the microphone at a normal sound level.
The announcement is recorded in the device's internal memory.
