REPLACING AlgoRex DEVICE
Simple replace-
ment process
for AlgoRex
manual call
points and DC
modules
The process of replacing AlgoRex interactive manual call points and DC modules is a simple
one. If the device is found to be defective, the corresponding element can be set using the
'Replace device -> On operating mode' to the 'Replace device' operating mode command.
The operating personnel can then replace the defective device.

If you still don't have operating access when starting operation work, the release procedure is
automatically called up.

The command is available at element level. A message to this effective is displayed on the ter-
minal. Only one element can be replaced per replacement session. The 'Replace device -> Off
operating mode' or restarting the station ends this operating mode.
Perform the following steps to set a defective manual call point to 'Replace' operating mode:
