Testing AUTOMATIC DETECTORS
Switching over
to test mode
The system must be switched to test mode before testing can begin.

This procedure describes the test principle for automatic detectors.
Perform the following steps to test automatic detectors:

Attach detector tester to detector.

detector tester DZ1193 is
needed for AlgoRex smoke de-
tectors and neural smoke de-
tectors.

The detector tester RE6T is
needed for AlgoRex heat de-
tectors:
The rise in temperature is simu-
lated using a hot air fan.

The detector exchanger and

Sinteso

devices

Wait until the response indicator
on the detector flashes.

Remove detector tester. The function test is complete.
Continue with the next detector.
NOTE:
Once testing is complete, the 'Test condition' operating mode must be ended.
