Opening the Top Cover

WARNING

The instrument's top cover must be placed in the full open position for it to stay open.
Failure to do so could cause unexpected closure of the cover resulting in injury.

To open the top cover, perform the following steps:

1. Open the top cover.

2. Confirm that the cover is in the full open position. The top cover is in the full open

position when it comes to a hard stop and cannot be raised any further.

Reagents

Reagent mechanisms

The reagent probes (RPP1 and RPP2) aspirate reagent from the reagent trays (RTT1 and
RTT2) and dispense it into reaction tray (RRV) cuvettes for analysis, according to
specified conditions. Reagent pumps (RP1 and RP2) handle the aspiration and dispensing
functions.
