Instructions for Use
Pulsed Wave Doppler Features
Doppler measurements and calculations available for all linear, curved, and phased array
transducers
Fast Fourier Transformation (FFT) processing of 32 to 256 points
FFT speed up to 1,920 FFTs per second at the highest sweep speed
Up to four user-selectable transmit frequencies per transducer
Simultaneous 2D-mode and Doppler display and 2D/Doppler with color (Triplex)
User-selectable Doppler update mode
User-adjustable Doppler scale and position controls
Angle correction of 0° to 89° in one degree increments
Transmit frequencies of 2 to 7.5 MHz
Downshift frequency and high-PRF Doppler
Doppler grayscale and colorization (tint) maps
Spectral invert
User-selectable frequency (kHz) or velocity (m/s) display format
Wall filter selections: 20 Hz to 1,600 Hz
Adjustable Doppler Gate size from 0.1 cm up to 4.0 cm, depending on the transducer
Flow angle correction on real-time or frozen images, with velocity readout update
PRF range from 100 Hz to 52,000 Hz
Doppler signal processing that enables automatic calculation of waveform statistics during
real-time imaging
Derived waveform Doppler trace function analyzes frozen Doppler spectrum for mean and
maximum velocity information. Waveform may be set to trace above baseline, below
baseline, or both.
Doppler audio output while in Doppler cursor mode
Doppler CINE control feature — up to 30 seconds of Doppler data can be stored
Five sweep speed selections
Gain of 0 dB to 90 dB in one decibel increments
Steerable Continuous Wave Doppler
Steerable continuous wave Doppler for phased array transducers
