Image Alignment
eSieFusion provides tools to align the reference data and an ultrasound image. An on-screen
indicator identifies the orientation of the reference data during alignment.

To initialize the alignment of reference data with an ultrasound image:
1. Select
Fuse
.

If the reference data has not been previously aligned with the ultrasound image, the
system displays the reference image and the ultrasound image in a split-screen
format. Proceed to step 3.

If the reference data has been previously aligned with the ultrasound image, the
system displays the blended image. Proceed to step 2 to reinitialize the alignment or
follow the procedures for performing fine adjustments.

to drag and drop the image.
Or, select
Point
to set a point first on the ultrasound image and then scroll on the reference
image to select the second point.
6. To initialize alignment:

Scroll Plane
] to select the required plane and then press
UPDATE
.

For systems without a touch screen, rotate the scroll wheel and then press
UPDATE
.
The system activates a full-screen display format and aligns the the reference data with the
ultrasound image.
Note:
You can alternatively position the transducer at the midline of the patient in a transverse plane
and then initialize alignment.
