Configuring Print Preferences
Use the system presets to configure print preferences such as paper/film
size, layout, and timing (print during or after the examination).
To configure print preferences:
1. Press the Presets key located on the keyboard, or select the Presets
shortcut button at the bottom of the screen.
2. Select the Print/Store menu on the left of the screen.
3. Select the Configure Printers tab and configure the following options
for each printer.
Auto Transfer (on the lower left of the Configure Printers tab) –
Timing of the print:
–
During Exam – System prints when film sheet is full, according
to selected layout.
– End of Exam – System prints when examination ends.
– Disabled – System prints when user accesses the Filming
screen and then selects the
Expose Film Task
button.
Media Size
– Paper/film size.
Layout – Film sheet (page) layout, such as 4:1 (four images per
printed page).
Orientation – Landscape or portrait orientation of page (film sheet).
Optimize large sheet – Adjust settings to increase speed of
printing large film sheets on DICOM printers.
Note: You must cycle power to the system to activate a changed setting for the
Optimize large sheet check box (cleared or selected).
4. Select the Save button to save your settings.
