Mounting and connecting the Gigaset WLAN Camera

Mount the camera on the supplied base and stand.
– Join the base, stand and swivel connector to the camera, as shown in the diagram

above.

Connect the LAN cable.
– Connect the Gigaset WLAN Camera to a 10/100BaseT hub or switch.

Adjust the antenna.
– Screw the antenna to the rear mounting point.
– Set the antenna to the upright position to improve wireless reception.

Protect the Gigaset WLAN Camera against falling down. Even during
installation, mount the stand and secure it against tilting.

The thread of the camera is the same as that of a standard tripod,
instead of the supplied accessory you can use your tripod for mount-
ing.

Connecting the LAN cable disables the wireless interface, because
only one interface can be active. The LAN interface is recommended
for initial configuration.
The default wireless settings for the Gigaset WLAN Camera are:
