On the following panel types, the cable compartment cover is bolted on additionally:
▪ Metering panel
▪ Cable panel
▪ Panel with pressure absorber system (IAC up to 21 kA)
Removing the cable compartment cover
1. Earth the feeder.
2.
For cable panels or panels with a pressure absorber system (IAC up to 21 kA)
: Remove 2
self-tapping bolts

at the top of the cable compartment cover.
For metering panels:
Undo 4 self-tapping bolts

and 12 bolts

at each cable
compartment cover.
3. Lift the cable compartment cover

and remove it to the front.

Hooking the cable compartment cover in
1. Hook the cable compartment cover in from above.
2.
If the cable compartment cover was bolted on:
Fasten the cable compartment cover again
at the panel using the bolts removed previously.
7.22.2 Removing and mounting the cross member
NOTICE
Removed cross member
If the cross member was removed, the bracing required for the stability of the switchgear is
missing. The switchgear can be distorted by movement.
⇨ If the cross member is removed, do not move the panel.
