Keep infrared devices such as laptops and cell phones away from SITRANS Probe LR to
prevent inadvertent operation.
•
Do not use the Handheld Programmer at the same time as SIMATIC PDM, or erratic
operation may result.
SITRANS Probe LR is configured through its parameters, and the application determines the
parameter values which are entered into the instrument. Check your value entries carefully
before operating SITRANS Probe LR, to ensure optimum performance.

Default values are indicated with an asterisk (*) in the parameter tables, unless explicitly
described
●
Primary index is an address: for example, P054
●
Secondary index is a sub-address that allows for multiple values on an indexed point, and
allows indexed values from more than one parameter to be linked, for example, the
breakpoints in P054 and P055.
To access a parameter and change a value (primary index):

Initial zeros in a parameter number do not have to be entered: for example, for P001, key in

then DISPLAY
to activate PROGRAM Mode.

Either use the ARROW
keys to scroll to each parameter number, or press
DISPLAY
again to access the parameter number field and key in the parameter
number followed by ENTER
