Function test
In this document, the tests of the following drive components are described.
● Power section
● Control cabinet
● Excitation unit
During the function test, all the ordered components are individually tested and documented.
3.2.1
Lighting in the control cabinet
Fundamentals
The lighting in the control cabinet is tested.
Test procedure
1. The door of the control cabinet is opened.
The lighting goes on.
Result
The test is passed if the lighting works.
3.2.2
Synchronization equipment in the control cabinet
Fundamentals
The synchronization equipment synchronizes the drive to the phase angle of the supply
system.
Test procedure
1. The auxiliary voltage is present.
2. The synchronization voltage is applied.
3. The value of the synchronization voltage is read off from the test station computer and
compared with the applied voltage.
Result
The test is passed if the voltage values match.
