7.3 Setting up the camera
The procedure for setting up the camera is described below based on version 2 (outdoor).
Further settings may be necessary with other versions (e.g. parameterization and selection of
the internal lamp).
The descriptions below do not provide a full account of camera commissioning. They merely
describe the initial setup so that work with the camera can commence. Depending on the type
of camera application and the ambient conditions, further parameters will need to be set later
(e.g. smoothing times, communication, calibration, etc.).

Step 1: Set the focal length
Open the "Options" menu under "Settings", enter the focal length of the lens under "Lens" →
"Focal length" and save the change.
If you are not using the "Outdoor" version, you can select and parameterize the lamp in this
menu.
