4.7 Commissioning and diagnostics
User interface
The user interface is based on web server technology. All you need is a computer with an Internet
browser that is connected to the SIMATIC MV540 H CRANES camera via Ethernet.
• The SIMATIC MV540 H CRANES camera is called up via its IP address.
The display of the user interface appears in the display window of the web browser.
• Display via Ethernet allows convenient setting and operator control of all parameters of the
camera.
• Operator control of the camera is supported by context-sensitive online help.
If for any reason the default settings do not produce an ideal result, you can manually adjust
individual parameters of the camera via the user interface.
All the settings for communication with other devices must be entered via the user interface.
The actual image processing takes place in processing mode and is performed automatically by
the SIMATIC MV540 H CRANES camera.
