The technology module assigns a current carrying capacity to the resistance value measured
at the PP terminal (R
C
) according to the following table.

outside of the values define here will result in an error. A charging
operation cannot be started.
Note
If the SAE J1772 standard has been selected, the PP resistance is not evaluated!
Do not connect any potential PP conductor of the charging cable to the PP terminal!
The maximum charging current is only limited here by the configuration of the module in TIA.
Connector locking ACT0p/n and ACT1p/n
The technology module enables you to use either electromotive or electromagnetic
connector locking and to monitor it over the associated read-back input (DI) of the charging
outlet.
●
Locking: The connector of the charging cable is locked in the charging station after the
vehicle has changed to STATE B (vehicle connected) and the Plug Present evaluation
has determined a sufficient current carrying capacity of the cable.
●
Unlocking: The locking mechanism is not unlocked until the charging cable is unplugged
from the vehicle.
