Parameterizing output 13 / 14 (Output signal ON or RUN)
Application
One of these two states is output at output 13 / 14:

ON
●
RUN
State diagrams of the inputs and outputs (Page 55).
Use the output function ON, for instance, to implement latching if you selected pushbutton
control.
Use the Output function RUN in order, for instance, to control a line contactor connected
upstream.
Requirements
●
Control supply voltage is connected.
●
The 3RW51 soft starter does not signal any faults, the LED STATE / OVERLOAD is off.
Procedure
1.
Activate the programming mode by holding the MODE key down for longer than 2 s until
the LED STATE / OVERLOAD flickers green.
Hold the MODE key down.
2.
Simultaneously press the RESET / TEST key down for longer than 1 s until the LED
STATE / OVERLOAD on the device lights up red.
The set state of the relay output ON / RUN is displayed on LED Soft Torque.

Release the MODE and RESET / TEST keys.
4.
Switch to the other mode by pressing the MODE key briefly. LED Soft Torque switches
between flickering green and flashing green.
You can switch between the modes at the output as often as you want.
5.
Terminate programming mode by pressing the RESET / TEST key for longer than 1 s
until LED STATE / OVERLOAD no longer shines red.
