Requirements to the motor cable:
The maximum admissible length of the motor cable is 100 m. The capacity must not
exceed 5.2 nF.
Example: If the cable capacity is 0.26 nF per meter, the maximum admissible length
of the motor cable is 20 m.

Information about the Shield and Ground Connection
Always use shielded motor cables!
With respect to the ground connection one of the following actions
must be done:
X connect the motor housing to the ground of the machine or
X connect the ground terminal of the motor connector to the cen-
tral ground point of the machine.
The cable shield must be connected to the connector shell at the
motor and to the shield bar at the servo amplifier.
