Rear Panel Mounting
Note
SD4S devices must be installed in a switch cabinet.
The device is designed for vertical rear panel mounting. Other setup positions are pos-
sible but you must consult SIEB & MEYER before.
Suitable fastening screws: M6 according to ISO 4762

Note: Using the washers is required to achieve class 3M2 (mechanical stability).

Note
The rear panel of the device must fit flat against the mounting plate. If you use locking
threads, make sure that these do not protrude beyond the mounting plate.
5.6
General Technical Data
The following data apply to all devices of the series SD4S.
5.6.1
Storage and Transport
Avoid improper mechanical load of the device. The following points must especially be
taken into consideration:

Never touch electronic components.
▶
Avoid stacking of unpacked devices during transport and storage.
▶
Sudden changes of the temperature must not exceed 0.5 °C/min.
The following climatic conditions apply to transport and storage. If required, appro-
priate measures must be taken to ensure these climatic conditions (installation of
heating/air conditioning systems etc.):
