Commissioning

6.1

Parameterization

The WI180C-IOA00 can be configured on a PC (running Microsoft Windows) via USB,
and on an SiLink2 master 1061790 using the SOPAS Engineering Tool software.

The SOPAS Engineering Tool application can be downloaded at www.sick.com. Make
sure that the version number of the installed application is V2018.4 or higher. After
starting SOPAS ET, install the WI180C-IOA00 device driver (SDD). The SDD can be
downloaded at www.sick.com.

6.2

Switching on

1.

Switch on the voltage supply for the device.

2.

Wait approximately 2 seconds until the device indicates that it is ready
