If a device on the network is already defined as a PTP time server then this must be
used and all OD devices must be defined as slaves. Otherwise, synchronization cannot
be executed properly.

Recording

Recording is used to prepare measurement data for storage. Output is in the form of a
*.csv file. Saved data is listed and can be downloaded to the corresponding list entry at
the click of a button. The exact download process depends on the individual browser
settings.
Various functions are available via this display.
7.3.11.1
Formatting settings
In the
Decimal separator
field, the user can select whether the measured values in the
*.csv file use a period or a comma as a decimal separator.
In the
Column delimiter
field, the user can select whether the data columns in the *.csv
file are separated by a comma or semicolon.
NOTE
*.csv files become illegible if a comma is used as both a decimal separator and column
delimiter.

Starting and testing the recording
Start recording
Clicking on the
Start recording
button starts the recording of the measurement data.
Test recording
Clicking on the
Test run
button starts a single recording. A previously set number of data
entries are collected before data recording stops. Using this function, current measure‐
ment data can be collected and stored flexibly.
