Serial AUX Interface

The 

Serial AUX Interface

 parameter specifies which fieldbus gateway is to be used on

the serial auxiliary interface provided by the CDM4xx connection module.

•

NONE

: No connection module with a fieldbus gateway is connected.

•

PROFIBUS DP

: The CMD4xx connection module is equipped with a Profibus CMF card

that acts as a gateway into the Profibus DP fieldbus system.

•

DEVICENET

: The CMD4xx connection module is equipped with a DeviceNet CMF card

that acts as a gateway into the DeviceNet fieldbus system.

NOTE

To use the interface, you must move the switch on the gateway to the AUX position.

Serial host interface
