Maintenance during operation
8.2.1
Cleaning the LiDAR sensor
The LiDAR sensors are maintenance-free. Maintenance is not necessary to ensure
compliance with laser class 1.
To achieve the full optical output of the LiDAR sensors, the front screen must be regularly
checked for contamination.

Clean the front screen
Switch off the device during cleaning.
Get rid of any contamination on the optics cover to avoid incorrect measurements.
Wipe the optics cover with a soft, wet sponge.
Then dry the optics cover with a clean cloth.
