Zero check
Function
This function is used to have the zero gas measured instead of sample gas for test
purposes. As long as the function is activated, zero gas supply is activated (internal
solenoid valve opens) but the EuroFID remains in measurement mode, therefore displays
the measured value of the zero gas.

Sensitivity test (calibration gas test)
Function
In the same way as during the “Zero check”, this function can be used to measure the span
gas instead of the sample gas. When the function is activated, the span gas supply is
automatically activated (internal solenoid valve opens), but the EuroFID remains in
measurement mode.
This condition terminates automatically when a programmed time has elapsed (approx. 5
minutes) or if the menu function is previously cancelled.

Calib gas check
The calculated “deviations” are automatically compared with the drift limit
values (can be set in the “Expert level” sub-menu). If the drift is greater, a
malfunction message is generated.
Standard settings:
– Drift > 20 %: Malfunction message “Service requir.”
– Drift > 50 %: Malfunction message “System failure”
