Operating concept
The control unit of the measuring system has a display with LCD display, capacitive buttons
for operation and status LEDs. Alternatively, the control unit can be connected to an
external device and operated via the SOPAS ET software (
).

Many menus and functions can also be used via the display.
●
The menus and functions are called up using the buttons.
●
Status LEDs on the display indicate the current operating status.

User groups
Certain device functions are first accessible after a password has been entered.

Changing the password for user groups
The password for the user groups on the control unit can be changed in the display settings
in SOPAS ET (
see “Changing display settings”, page 79

The display can also be operated in the Ex-area.
