Approach
1.
Disconnect the device from the voltage supply.
2.
Disconnect the device from all connected devices.
3.
To reset the function, disconnect the connecting cables of one muting sensor pair
or both muting sensor pairs from the muting signal A and muting signal B connec‐
tions on the active unit.
4.
Switch on the voltage supply and disconnect it again within 10 s.
2)
During this, the
INFO LED flashes alternately yellow and green.
5.
Connect the connecting cables of one muting sensor pair or both muting sensor
pairs to the muting signal A and muting signal B connection of the active unit.
6.
Switch on the voltage supply.
✓
The INFO LED and the integrated signal lamp on the active unit flash green.
✓
The OSSD LED on the active unit lights up red.
✓
All functions are reset to the factory settings.
✓
If there is a 24 V voltage present at the C1 muting release input, the C1 muting
release is reactivated.
7.
Disconnect the device from the voltage supply.

Provided that the device is in configuration mode, you can make further changes to the
configuration:
•
Configuring the restart interlock
•
Configuring the C1 muting release
Quit configuration mode
b
Briefly interrupt the voltage supply, then switch it back on.

Configuring beam coding
Overview
To protect against interference from systems in close proximity to each other, code 1
and code 2 must be used.
Configuring beam coding
The beam coding is configured using pin 8 on the system connection.
Table 16: Configuring the beam coding
Voltage level
Beam coding
Low (0 V)
Code 1
High (24 V)
Code 2
2)
If the supply voltage is present for longer than 10 s, the protective device changes to the lockout status. Start again from step 1.
