EtherNet/IP architecture

EtherNet/IP and therefore also the AFS60/AFM60 EtherNet/IP use Ethernet for the trans-
mission technology.
The network components are generally integrated into a

star topology

The system can also be integrated in a

Device Level Ring (DLR)

in order to achieve a

higher reliability and less wiring effort.

The AFS60/AFM60 EtherNet/IP supports Device Level Ring.
