TX10 Torx wrench
Approach
1.
Make sure that the environment is clean and free of dust and moisture (high air
humidity, fog, rain, hail, snow).
2.
Disconnect the connecting cables from the system plug.
3.
If necessary: move the safety laser scanner to a clean location.
4.
Unscrew the screws in the defective system plug and remove the system plug from
the safety laser scanner.
5.
Make sure that the seal is seated correctly (

).
6.
Carefully place the new system plug onto the safety laser scanner at the back (
2
).
7.
Carefully fold the system plug onto the safety laser scanner (
3
).
Make sure the desiccant bag is not pinched.
8.
If the desiccant bag is damaged, contact your local SICK subsidiary.
9.
Screw in the system plug using the captive screws. Tightening torque: 1.6 Nm …
1.9 Nm.
10. Reconnect the connecting cables to the system plug.
11. Configure the safety laser scanner,

12. Perform commissioning again, taking particular care to conduct all of the thorough
checks described,

Regular thorough check
The thorough check is intended to ensure that the safety functions are fulfilling their
planned purpose and whether persons are being adequately protected.

Carry out the checks specified in the test plan of the manufacturer of the machine
and the operating entity.
