If, for example, the value between brackets is “0004”, it means that only the counters area is
not valid. If the value is “0041”, it means that the parameters areas (0040) and the LCD
contrast areas (0001) are not valid.
If any zone is not valid, the normal operation sequences are not performed until when the
operator presses butto
ns “AUTO + STOP”: it is in effect necessary that the situation has been
acknowledged as it can cause dysfunctions (for example if the not valid area is the one of the
parameters)
. Only when the operator presses “AUTO + STOP”, the controller reloads the
defaults for the data saved in the not valid areas: this means that if the controller is shut down
without pressing “AUTO + STOP”, when you turn it on next you will get again the signalling of
not valid memory.
11.9
It is possible to assign a name to the plant, including it into parameter P.0456.
11.10
This mode is useful in SPM systems to limit the consumption from the starter battery when the
battery chargers are disconnected. The controller switches off and minimizes the power
consumption. To enable power saving mode, set parameter P.0590 "
Delay before energy
saving
” to a value other than zero.
To enable the mode, you must
:
-
Turn off the engine
;
-
Disconnect any ongoing communications via USB (eg with BoardPrg3)
;
-
Set the controller to OFF-RESET
;
-
Press the emergency button (if configured on any digital input)
.
After the time configured in P.0590, the device automatically activates power saving and the
LCD display and all the lights go off. You can also manually force this mode by pressing and
holding the
STOP
button for at least 5 seconds. The activation of the energy saving mode with
relative date and time is recorded in the event store, if enabled by the bit 0 of parameter
P.0441.
It is possible to quit this mode, in two ways:
•
by pressing the
START
key;
•
on
T.17
digital input status change.
The
T.17
digital input, to quit the energy saving mode, is only available from board revision 1
and later (E611215610001). Using parameter P.0599 is possible to select the required status
change of T.17:
•
“0-Disabled”: digital input is not used to quit energy saving mode;
•
“1-Rising edge”: on digital input activation;
•
“2-Falling edge”: on digital input deactivation;
•
“3-Both edges”: on digital input activation and deactivation.
The deactivation of the energy saving mode with relative date and time is recorded in the event
store, if enabled by the bit 0 of parameter P.0441.
