DMX Addressing
In a setup with multiple devices, make sure that you set the DMX starting address of each device
correctly. The LED SPI-2 Install has 3 personalities: 17 channels, 34 channels and 512 channels.
If you want to connect multiple devices on one data link and use them in 34-channel mode, for
example, follow the steps below:
01)
Set the starting address of the 1
st
device on the data link to 1 (001).
02)
Set the starting address of the 2
nd
device on the data link to 35 (035), as 1 + 34 = 35.
03)
Set the starting address of the 3
rd
device on the data link to 79 (079) as 35 + 34 = 79.
04)
Continue assigning the starting addresses of the remaining devices by adding each time 34 to the
previous number.
Make sure that you do not have any overlapping channels in order to control each Luna Four Bar 60
correctly. If two or more devices are addressed similarly, they will work similarly.
Art-NET Connection
Setup LED SPI-2 (Art-Net/Kling-Net)
01)
Fasten the effect light to a DIN EN60715 rail system or mount it on flat surface.
02)
Use a CAT-5/CAT-6 cable to connect the LED SPI-2 Install and other devices.
03)
Connect your computer with installed Art-Net/Kling-Net software to the first device’s RJ45
connector.
04)
Supply electric power. Do not supply power before the whole system is set up and connected
properly.
