Use And Care
Lift Table Safe Use Practices
Always use safe practices during loading and unloading patients from the grooming table.
All procedures should be created by the facility owner and followed. Common sense
and being aware of safety concerns should always drive procedures. Below is a list of
recommendations and situational conditions that require attention, heed all warnings.
• Do NOT operate the grooming table before checking to ensure the unit and surrounding area is
clear of personnel, animals and obstructions.
•
Do NOT operate the grooming table on uneven flooring. Adjust leveling feet to ensure the unit is
stable and the patient is secure during operation.
• Do NOT sit, stand or lean on the table. Animal use ONLY.
Do NOT leave patients on the table unattended. Failure to do so could result in
SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH.
ALWAYS maintain full control of patients when using the table or its operable functions.
Failure to do so could result in SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH.
Do NOT use the table functions before checking to ensure the unit and surrounding
area are clear of personnel, animals and obstructions. Failure to do so could result in
SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH.
Keep personnel and animals clear of the foot operated lift control pedal, unintentional
table functions (movement) could occur. Failure to do so could result in SERIOUS
INJURY or DEATH.
When not in use, store the table in its closed position and unplug the unit.
