SSEMBLIES
Prior to verifying the achievement of an anaerobic atmosphere, attach and secure both sleeve
assemblies to the arm ports. This allows access to the chamber through the ports without
introducing oxygen from the outside atmosphere.
Start with either arm port.
1. Unroll the large opening of a sleeve over the lip of the arm port door.
a. Place the ring on the large end of the sleeve inside the groove on the arm port.
b. Make sure none of the sleeve material is trapped or pinched between the ring and the
seating groove.
2. Secure the sleeve to the arm port using the 48 inch (121cm) self-griping strap included with
the sleeve.
a. Exercise caution when placing the strap next to the arm port gas lines.
3. Repeat the process for the 2
nd
sleeve and arm port.
Sleeves may be left attached to the BACTRON when not in use.
