fire, electric shock or injury to persons.
• DO NOT carry this appliance by the power cord or use cord as handle.
• To disconnect, turn all controls to the “off” position, then remove plug from outlet.
• This appliance is designed for personal, non-professional use only.
• DO NOT use outdoors.
• DO NOT touch the hot metal parts, hot water or steam to avoid
burns.
• DO NOT touch the steam coming out of the steam jet nozzle.
• Move the appliance carefully, and always place the unit on a
level surface.
• Allow the unit to cool down for at least 30 minutes before
storing.
• ALWAYS disconnect the appliance from the outlet for at least
30 minutes BEFORE filling with water.
• Do not overfill tank - doing so can cause extreme output of
steam. Use the Cup (included) and only use enough water to
come up to the red MAX FILL LINE on the Cup.
• Please use distilled or de-mineralized water to prolong unit’s life.
• Never overfill tank - using the measuring cup, fill only to the red
Max Fill line.

The Sharper Image In-Home Professional Jewelry Steam Cleaner
is primarily intended for your diamond jewelry, however rubies
and sapphires can be steam cleaned safely as well. You can also
steam clean any gold, platinum, or silver jewelry.
There are many stones that should not be steam cleaned. These
include, but are not limited to, Opals, Emeralds, Tanzanite, Kunzite,
Garnets, Peridot, Pearls, Coral, Turquoise or stones that may be
glued-in or porous. When in doubt, always consult with your jeweler
or gemologist.
Make sure that the settings are not loose before using any steam
cleaner.
