3. Others
(1) Tray off center adjustment
I.
Purpose
This adjustment is to put the copy image at the center of paper
in the vertical direction.
II.
Note
This adjustment must be performed only after the following ad-
justments have been properly performed.

No. 4/5 mirror unit right angle adjustment is completed.

The copy image center adjustment is completed.
III.
Necessary tools

Screwdriver (+)
*
Scale
*
Test chart for center position adjustment (Make a test chart
as shown below.)
Draw a line in the paper transport direction at the center of A4
or 8 1/2" x 11" paper.
IV.
Adjustment procedure
1) Set the center position adjustment test chart to the document
reference plate.
2) Use the tray paper feed and make a 100% copy on A4 or 8
1/2" x 11" paper.
3) Check that the copied line is at the center of the copy paper.
(Standard: 0
±
2.0mm)
4) If the copied line is not in the specified range, perform the
following procedure.
