These new models XL-1600/1600C have almost the same
structure as the former models XL-1700/1700C except for
some outer parts, the color of the main unit has been changed,
the color of the speaker has changed from silver to black, and
so only these parts are here described. When servicing the
XL-1600/1600C, please refer to the already issued service
manual for XL-1700/1700C (S4221XL1700//) as well as this
service manual.
• In the interests of user-safety the set should be restored to its
original condition and only parts identical to those specified be
used.
