Auto Power Off Function
Selectable

Description
On
The projector automatically enters
the standby mode when no input
signal is detected for 15 minutes or
longer.
Off
The Auto Power Off function will
be disabled.
When the Auto Power Off function is set to
“On”, 5 minutes before the projector enters the
standby mode, the message “Enter STANDBY
mode in X min.” will appear on the screen to
indicate the remaining minutes.

switch is turned off when the
projector is on, then the projector
automatically turns on when the
power cord is plugged into the AC
outlet or the breaker switch is
turned on.

The projector does not turn on

or the breaker switch is turned on.

COMPUTER2 Select
You can also use the MONITOR OUT terminal
as the COMPUTER/COMPONENT 2 terminal.
Select whether to use the terminal as an input
terminal or output terminal.

Input
The terminal can be used as an
input terminal (COMPUTER/
COMPONENT 2).
Monitor Output
The terminal can be used as an
output terminal (MONITOR OUT).
Set this before connecting the external
equipment.
The setting cannot be changed when Input
mode is “COMPUTER 2”.

When set to “Eco”, power consumption is
reduced in Standby mode.

Network functions are switched off in

Standard
The monitor output, RS-232C and

if the projector is in Standby mode.

Selecting the Transmission
Speed

Make sure that both the projector and com-
puter are set for the same baud rate.

Description

Transmission speed is slow.
Transmission speed is rapid.
38400 bps
115200 bps
Refer to the “SETUP MANUAL” contained on
the supplied CD-ROM for RS-232C
Specifi cations and Command Settings.
Refer to the computer’s operation manual for
instructions for setting the computer’s baud rate.
