Technical Data

10.1 CE marking, UL approval and C-Tick

CE marking

• Low voltage directive:

The MOVIFIT

®

drive system complies with the regulations of the low voltage direc-

tive 2006/95/EC.

• Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC):

MOVIFIT

®

SC motor starters are designed for use as components for installation in

machinery and systems. They meet the following EMC product standard:
Interference emission: EN 60947-4-2 limit value class A
Interference immunity: EN 60947-4-2
Provided the installation instructions are complied with, the requirements for CE
marking of the entire machine/system in which they are installed are satisfied on the
basis of the EMC directive 89/336/EEC. For detailed information on EMC compliant
installation, refer to the publication "Electromagnetic Compatibility in Drive
Engineering" from SEW-EURODRIVE.

The CE mark on the nameplate indicates conformity with the Low Voltage Directive
2006/95/EC and the EMC Directive 89/336/EEC. We can provide a declaration of
conformity on request.

UL approval

UL and cUL approval has been requested for the MOVIFIT

®

 unit series.

C-Tick

C-Tick approval has been requested for the MOVIFIT

®

 series. C-Tick certifies confor-

mity with ACA (Australian Communications Authority) standards.
