6.4.1
Startup steps
1. It is essential that you observe the startup instructions.
2. Disconnect all components from the voltage supply and use an external disconnect-
ing device to avoid an unintentional re-connection.
3. Make sure that the MOVIGEAR
®
drive unit is connected properly. Observe chapter
"Electrical Installation".
4. Activate "Easy" mode by setting DIP switch S2/1 to OFF.
5. Set the first speed at the setpoint potentiometer f1 (active when the AS-Interface bit
DO2 = "0") (factory setting: approx. setting 5).
6. Make sure the screw plug of the setpoint potentiometer f1 has a seal and screw it in.

Easy mode
NOTICE
Set the DIP switches using suitable tools, e.g. a slotted screwdriver with a blade width
< 3 mm.
The force used for setting the DIP switches must not exceed 5 N.

The enclosure specified under technical data only applies if the screw plugs of the
setpoint potentiometer and the diagnostic interface are installed correctly.
Missing or incorrectly installed screw plugs can cause damage to the MOVIGEAR
®
inverter.
