8.5.1

Notes

WARNING

Electric shock caused by dangerous voltages in the connection box.
Severe or fatal injuries.
• Before removing the connection box cover, de-energize unit via a suitable ex-

ternal disconnection device.

• Secure the device against unintended re-connection of the voltage supply.

8.5.2

Replacing the electronics cover

1. Observe the safety notes.
2.

WARNING!

Electric shock due to dangerous voltages at the line terminals. The switch discon-

nector

D01 only disconnects the line voltage at the line terminals X1_b and thus to

the connected drive units. Voltage is still present at the line

terminals

X1_a. Switch

off the 400 V line voltage and the DC 24 V backup voltage.

3. Loosen the screws and take off the electronics cover from the connection box.
4. Compare the data on the nameplate of the previous electronics cover with the data

on the nameplate of the new electronics cover.

INFORMATION

Always replace the electronics cover with an electronics cover with the same type

designation.

5. Set all the control elements (e.g. DIP switches, see "Startup" chapter) on the new

electronics cover in the same way as the controls of the previous electronics

cover.

6. Remove the SD memory card from the previous electronics cover. Insert this SD

memory card in the new electronics cover.

7. Place the new electronics cover onto the connection box and screw it on.
8. Supply the device with voltage.
9. Check the new electronics cover for proper functioning.
