Operating modes

The control system has two different operating modes:
•

Automatic mode

 (= standard operating mode)

•

Manual mode

In 

automatic mode

 the higher-level PLC controls the EMS modular control system’s ac-

tions. All sensors are active in this operating mode and are queried.

The 

manual mode

 is used for repairing, maintaining, servicing and moving the control

system in case of a fault.

Depending on the configuration of the EMS modular control system in manual mode,
please ensure that no limit switches are active. Please ensure the manual mode is
only activated by authorized skilled employees.

You need the IR remote control for manual operation.
