DANGER
Danger due to fatal electric shocks when working at energized lines
Death or serious injuries
•
The contacts of the power connections, mains and motors, at the control bottom (X1,
X2.x, X3, X
4
) can lead to life-threatening voltages when the control is connected to
the mains. Therefore, disconnect the control from the voltage before you perform
any work on it.
•
All control terminals are only insulated on a basic level (single insulating distance)
after connecting a PTC thermistor or a thermal switch (opener). In case of a defec-
tive insulating distance, the contact safety is guaranteed through external measures,
e.g. dual insulation
•
The control must be grounded via X1 and the housing PE connection at the
bottom!
⚠
DANGER
Danger due to residual voltage
Death or serious injuries
•
Contacts of power connections, motors and external brake resistors, on the control
bottom (X2.x, X3) can lead to life-threatening voltages even after the control has
been switched off. After the control is switched off, wait at least 5 minutes before
starting to work on it.
Information about emergency stop facilities
During electrical installation, the requirements for an emergency stop device must be
observed.
This must be planned and executed by the system builder.
The E-STOP device function must be regularly checked by the operator.
Please note the applicable standards, regulations, etc., as amended.
