Commissioning / Control unit
1. Open the battery compartment by flipping the latch of the battery compartment (12).
2. Insert the battery, observing the polarity markings (“+” and “-”; shown in the diagram on the back of the lamp).
3. Fold the cover of the battery compartment shut and flip the lever of the battery compartment lock again.
4. Switch on the hand lamp by pressing the main switch (1). The light always switches on with the white main light.
5. First set the correct battery type: First press the battery status switch (8). The battery type is now displayed (5) and
can be switched by the battery status switch (8). Use 9 V for alkaline batteries and 7.2 V for NiMh batteries. The
state of charge is indicated by red and green LEDs (13, continuous red flashing indicates that the battery should be
changed). Switch off the display by pressing the status switch (8) again. The battery type is now stored.
6. When the hand lamp is switched on, you can use the change-over switch (9) to switch from white to red signal light.
7. Press the main switch (1) again to switch the hand lamp off.
Maintenance, cleaning and care
The hand lamp does not contain any parts that need to be maintained by you. For reasons of electrical safety, clean the
lamp only with a slightly damp cloth. Never use harsh cleaning agents or chemicals (solvents, petrol, etc.).
