4.2.4  Alarm, remote range and status relay connections (general) 

 

 

WARNING 

The alarm remote range and status relay connections are separated 

from the analyzer mains circuit by reinforced insulation. The terminals 

must only be connected to circuits that are themselves separated from 
mains voltage by an isolation method that provides at least this level of 

protection. 

 

CAUTION 

To comply with EMC requirements, screened cables must be used to connect 

the relay outputs and the screen of the relay outputs shall be connected to the 

analyzer enclosure. The remote end of the screen shall be open circuit. 

 

Connect the wires in your cable to the screw terminals on the 6 pin connector provided. 
Section 2.3 provides information on the rating of cable.

Circuits connected to terminals S1, S2, S3, ST, AL1 and AL2 shall only be powered by
