Appendix D: Power LED Behaviors
The behavior of a Video Gateway’s
Power
LED indicates the current state of the unit.

The following LED behaviors may occur:
LED Behavior
Description
Solid green with a single orange flash every
second
Normal operation
Solid orange with a single green flash every
second
Normal operation; the unit is connected to a proxy
server
Solid green with a double orange flash every
second
Recording failure, either because the storage
medium has failed or because of a time-stamp
problem
Flashes orange once at startup and then remains
a solid green
Boot failure; Catch Boot required
Turns solid green immediately upon startup and
remains solid green (does not flash orange at all)
Boot failure; RMA authorization required
