Troubleshooting
If you’re experiencing problems or unexpected behavior from your Pro
3, here are a few typical scenarios and their solutions:
If the Pro 3 isn’t producing sound:

1. Recall the Basic Program by holding the Transpose
down
button and
pressing the
latch
button.
2. If the problem is still there, check the following:
• Volume - make sure it is set to an appropriate value
• Rear-panel output jacks - make your audio cables are connected to
left
/
right
output
.
• In the
global
menu, make sure that
local control
is set to
on
.
If the sequencer or arpeggiator has stopped running:
• Check the
midi clock mode
setting in
global
to ensure the Pro 3 is set
to
master
or
off

sure the Pro 3 is receiving MIDI clock.
If some of the programs sound different than usual:
• In the Global menu, check

wheel can do more than just add vibrato. Also, check the
midi clock
mode
setting in the
global
menu to ensure the Pro 3 is set to
master

, make sure the Pro 3
is receiving MIDI clock.
If there is a ground hum in the audio output:
• USB can cause ground loops, so try to resolve any grounding issues
between the computer (if connected) and the Pro 3. Or use MIDI, which is
opto-isolated.
