RxControl: Logging > Internal Logging Settings > Log Sessions

This command deﬁnes the parameters of the log sessions. For each session, the user can
specify where to log (DSK1: internal disk or DSK2: USB drive), the session name, when to
auto-delete the ﬁles, and the session priority.

The state of each log session is set by the

State

argument. If

State

is

Enabled

, the log session

is enabled for logging. If

State

is

Unused

or

Disabled

, the log session stops logging data.

Log ﬁles of session

are logged in a folder called "LOG

i

_

Name

" where

Name

is the session

name provided in this command. If a folder named "LOG

i

_..." already exists on the disk,

the existing folder is renamed to the new name without loosing its contents. If there is no
"LOG

i

_..." folder yet, it is created.

The log ﬁles are automatically deleted after the interval speciﬁed in the

AutoDelete

argument

(unless they are ﬂagged as "to be preserved", see the

Type

argument below). If the

AutoDelete

argument is set to

Never

, ﬁles are never deleted automatically (except when the disk is full,

see the

setDiskFullAction

command). It is the responsibility of the user to timely down-

load and delete the ﬁles, or to timely stop the logging to avoid ﬁlling up the disk.

The

Priority

argument deﬁnes the session priority when the disk is full and the receiver starts

to free-up disk space by deleting old ﬁles (see the

setDiskFullAction

command for de-

tails). Sessions with a low priority will be the ﬁrst to be deleted upon a disk full condition.

Logging sessions can be of different types:

The log session is logging continuously and deleting old ﬁles as

settings.

Scheduled

Logging is enabled/disabled according to the schedule set with
the

setLogSessionSchedule

command. Auto-deletion is the

same as in

Continuous

mode.
