Configuring the DVR
700-0058 R001
3–11
The following tables show the estimated recording time in hours for an 80 GB,
500 GB, and 750 GB hard drive with
one camera
at the different settings for
frames per second (FPS), resolution, and picture quality.
If all the cameras are configured to record at the same resolution, frame rate and
picture quality, you can calculate the system recording capacity by dividing the
value in the table by the number of cameras. If the cameras are set to record at
different rates, contact Seon Design for assistance in calculating the recording
capacity.
The EX4 Plus 35 DVR processes 4 different video inputs simultaneously—the
frames per second (FPS) is aggregate based on the sum of all the camera frame
rates. In other words, the recording times shown in the following tables are
independent of how many cameras are connected to the DVR.
Important:
The amount of memory the hard drive uses is dependent on the scene
content and the lighting conditions. Your actual recording times may vary.
